The History of Zsa Zsa: Homewrecker or loyal household help?
The Zsa Zsa story has reached legendary status in the Wilson family. Brother Phil got her for Dad one Christmas, probably 1965 or so. He found her at Goodwill, and then found a wig, dress, heels, etc. Dad had her in his basement bar in Ferndale. Phil also painted a sign leading to Vic Wilson’s Night Spot. It was on the stairway down to the basement.

Here’s a photo of the Night Spot. That’s Bill and Helen Pfau, the neighbors from across the street. Zsa Zsa is back behind the bar, observing the merriment.

Steve recalls:
When Mom and Dad retired to Thorntown we rented a van and all of us kids helped with the move. After we unloaded the van, boxes were all over the place. We unpacked important things first: we opened a box of liquor bottles and put them all on the coffee table, and to complete the ambiance Phil assembled Zsa Zsa and taped a shot glass to her hand. On cue, a local priest knocked on the door to welcome us to T-town, and most likely to invite Dad to attend his church. He came in and kept looking at the coffee table of bottles and at Zsa Zsa while he said that he heard that Dad had a heart condition and perhaps he should go to the church across the street because it didn’t have any steps. His church had steps and it might be hard on Dad to climb them. He kept repeating that. We all held back our laughter. Dad decided to compromise and not go to any church.
Mom and Dad were out of town a good while, I think visiting Dave and Pat and kids in Florida. Uncle Asher, the prankster, put Zsa Zsa in their bed. Quite a surprise when they returned.

After Mom died, Zsa Zsa disappeared for many years. We sold the house to Asher, contents included. Asher was really doing us favor. It was so difficult disposing of all the stuff. Steve and Kathy found Zsa Zsa at Uncle Asher’s garage sale some time later and couldn’t resist.
Kathy recalls: Asher kept teasing Aunt Wilma with Zsa Zsa. She was glad to see us take her away. Many stares from other drivers as we drove down the highway with arms and legs sticking out from under a blanket.
Zsa Zsa now happily resides with Kathy and Steve in Florida. She hasn’t aged a bit.
Epilogue: After many decades Phil united with Zsa Zsa in Florida

Notice how the two of them look identical, except for the faces, arms, and clothes. Steve photoshopped Zsa Zsa’s hat on Phil. He offered to give Zsa Zsa back to Phil. Kathy starred daggers at Steve, but fortDunately Phil declined. He outgrew his need to have Zsa Zsa, although Kathy and Steve didn’t.
Note that Zsa Zsa got a new dress after, what, 40 years? Also note that over the decades her sight is slightly worse and she is now wearing glasses.
AND IT APPEARS EVERYONE GOT IN ON THE ACT.

Zsa Zsa is vitally concerned about the pandemic. She is doing her part!
